Scotts Final Letter

I was reading my copy of the pocket Dangerous Book for Boys (highly recommended) and came across the quote below. Its an excerpt from Captain Scott's final letter to his wife while he was dying on his way back from his ill-fated journey to the South pole. His final thoughts and hopes for his son's upbringing.

"...make the boy interested in natural history if you can, it is better than games they encourage it at some schools - I know you will keep him out in the open air -- try and make him believe in a God, it is comforting."
