Parenting and Risk

We're having a great discussion over at The Outdoor Parent regarding risk. Both risks we take as parents and the risk we're willing to accept from your children.

There's a good video here that kinda runs along these lines. Not so much the danger of doing things like base jumping, but just the simple things that we as parents tend to avoid letting our children do. I thought it was interesting.

I don't think I'm ready to let him free-solo just yet...
